Dorothy Ann Slack, 78, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, at Regional Hospital of Scranton after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 21, 1945, to Kathryn and Adam Perslipski of Old Forge and was a lifelong resident of the Taylor/Moosic area. She loved her semi-annual bingo trips with her cousin, Gloria and lifelong friend, Ellen. She loved "watching her stories," particularly Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, Yahtzee, going to the casino and hourslong conversations on the phone. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her beloved sons, George and Michael Slack, with whom she resided; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her dearly. Cremation services will be provided by Hughes Funeral Home of Scranton. Per her wishes, no memorial service will be held. The family will privately carry out her final wishes.
