
Debra McDermott-Mihalich, 64 of Dickson City, died on June 23 at home.
Born to the late John and Mary McDermott. She was a graduate of Mid Valley and worked at Harper Collins until retirement. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Debra loved being at the beach. She loved playing with and watching her grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed all the cheer, dance, soccer, basketball, and baseball events with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Sasha McLain and husband Michael, Scranton and Mariah Mihalich, her partner David Hope, Scranton and seven grandchildren, Amelia, Kiley, Levi, Weston, Mary, Milo and Elliott; sister, Donna Mead and husband, Rick, Ft. Myers, FL, brother John McDermott and wife Donna, Chandler, AZ, brother Nicholas McDermott, Throop; two aunts, Patricia Gaetano and Lillian McCormick; cousin and nieces and nephews.
Debra will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and generous person who made a difference in the lives of so many. She touched the lives of countless people during her lifetime, and her impact will continue to be felt for years to come.
Friends and family may visit on June 29 at McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home from 11:00-1:00pm.
