David Kresge, 70, of Clarks Summit, died Wednesday at Allied Hospice. His wife, Bonnie Tilley Kresge, at his bedside. Born in Saylorsburg, son of the late Allen and Elsie Kresge, he was a graduate of Pleasant Valley Jr./Sr. High in Brodheadsville in 1972. David worked as a bricklayer and in the construction industry. He enjoyed reading books, especially the Bible. He liked crafting and creating things with his hands. David loved putting together bicycles for his sons and other neighborhood children. Singing and playing the harmonica were also things he was fond of. He cared deeply for animals and wildlife. But his favorite pastime above everything else, was being side by side with his loving wife and family. David is survived by his four siblings, Allen Jr., Jamie, Judy and Laurie. His sons, Jesse, Nathan, Joshua, Michael and David. His grandchildren, Luna, Aliyah, Samantha, Sophia, Alexis, Hope, Grace, Michael II and Harrison. And several cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Revival Baptist Church. Friends may call in the church starting at noon. Arrangements by Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc.
