Daniel Gabriel Sallom, 33, of New Bedford, MA, and formerly of Scranton, passed away on February 21, 2026. Born in Scranton on April 22, 1992, Daniel was the beloved son of Federick Sallom and the late Donna Wassil Sallom. He was a proud graduate of Scranton High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts from West Chester University. At the time of his passing, Daniel was sharing his talents and leadership as a Site Coordinator for the YMCA. Daniel was a kind soul who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his father, Federick Sallom; his sister, Tara Lyckowski; and his brother, Peter Lyckowski. He also leaves behind several cherished nephews, a great-nephew, and a great-niece who all brought him much joy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Sallom, and his sister, Stephanie Chwasciewski. Together, they are now at rest. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 15th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keyser Valley Community Center, 103 N. Keyser Avenue, Scranton, PA.
