
Daniel Eremo, 79, of Scranton, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born in Scranton, son of the late John and Victoria Zawadzki, he was a member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Local Union 542 and a member of the Green Ridge Assembly of God Church. He loved music, hunting, fishing, his cats and beloved dog, Gracie.
Surviving are his children, Josh Eremo (Scranton), Emily Eremo (Factoryville); Rachel Kerlavage and husband, Tyler Kerlavage (Mountain Top); David Eremo (Lake Ariel); John Eremo and wife, Amy Eremo (Old Forge); along with 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher; and sister, Jean Kellogg.
We welcome family and friends to join us Friday at Green Ridge Assembly of God Church, 825 Green Ridge St., Scranton, PA 18509, with 11 a.m. visitation, following with a memorial service at noon. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
