Concetta R. Solimini, 87 of Scranton, passed away Saturday, December 27th at Allied Hospice. Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Salvatore and Elizabeth Maron LaFonte. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Solimini after 66 years of marriage. She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth (Lisa) and her wife Christine and grandson John Solimini, one brother, Joseph LaFonte and wife Sandra, Long Island, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by four sons, Mark, Mike, Chris and Sal. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 17th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm will a service at 2:00pm in the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Avenue, Scranton, PA.
