Christine Moran, 60, of Scranton, died Tuesday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband is James Moran. Born in Milford, Conn., daughter of the late Jack Heigelman and Chris Brown, she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and worked as an EMT for Weisenfluh ambulance and Keystone Emergency Unit, and a nurse's aide at Balanced Care of Mid Valley. She enjoyed cooking and baking. In her younger days she would make hundreds of Christmas cookies for the entire family. She especially liked teaching the grandkids to make meatballs and lasagna. Also surviving are four children, Trista Morgan and husband, Jeremiah; Catrina Moran, Clara Mickavicz and James Jr.; grandchildren who Christine thought the world of, Aria Morgan, Sophia Mickavicz, James Moran III, Luka Mark and Gabrialla. Christine requested a private memorial service. Arrangements by Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton.
