Charondi Glendatra Montgomery-McIver, who left us too soon on Nov. 17, 2023. Born on June 22, 1988, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Charlene Anderson and Randy Anderson. Charondi brought joy and light into the world for 35 years. A native of the Bronx, but relocated to Scranton, Pa., Charondi made a marked impact on those she encountered both personally and professionally. Her personality was a radiant blend of warmth and humor. She was a fantastic cook, a feature that endeared her to many. Charondi was also quite popular on various social media platforms where she wielded influence over a growing and dedicated audience. Her skills as a makeup artist were admired and sought after, a testament to her artistic prowess. Charondi was academically accomplished as well. She graduated from Fortis College/Medical Assistant School with an associate degree in 2017. Her academic journey was a source of great pride and served as yet another avenue through which Charondi positively impacted those around her. Despite her many accomplishments, Charondi often stated that becoming a mother was her greatest achievement. Her love for her four children was palpable and profound, showcasing the depth of her heart and the strength of her commitment to those she loved. Charondi is survived by both of her parents, Charlene and Randy Anderson; Sharde' McIver, whom she shares two sons with, Savion and Zayden McIver; and Corey Loughney, with whom she shares two daughters, Londyn and Raedyn Loughney; four sisters, Diamond, Gheronda, Kasheema, Yasmeen; and one brother, Andrew; as well as her godmother, Geraldine Carter. The bond between them was one of love, respect and mutual support. The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and condolences from friends, family and well-wishers. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the life and the love that Charondi generously shared with us all. "Grief is the price we pay for love." Words of sympathy feel inadequate in expressing grief and sorrow for a loss so great. Sending a warm embrace and all my love during this sad time and in the days and months ahead. I pray, and wish you find comfort in the fond memories shared. She shined so bright that the memory of her light will never dim. [Yours was exceptional]. Sending my sincerest condolences 🙏🏽 "YOU were the brightest light in a sky full of stars. You were a kind spirit: mom, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and FRIEND ~ It’s hard to say goodbye and even harder when it’s to someone like YOU! Rest In Peace sweet Friend. Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
