Cesareo Orta-Bonilla, 73, of Scranton, died Monday at home. He is survived by his wife Santa Iris Vargas. Born in Puerto Rico, son of the late Antonio Orta Flores and Carmen Maria Bonilla, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, taking part in any and all activities with them — from sports and fishing trips to cracking jokes and sharing stories. He treasured talking, laughing, and simply being together as a family. Also surviving are his daughter, Denise Fuller; grandchildren, Jordan Miguel Fuller, and Anabelle Marie and Adrian Antonio Escobales; two brothers; three sisters; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wandaliz Orta; and brother, Oscar Orta. A funeral service will be held Monday at 5pm in the Thomas J Hughes FH Inc, 1240 St. Ann St, Scranton. Friends may call starting at 3pm.
