
Our beloved Mother, mother in law, grandmother, and great mother Carol Connor, passed away to be with the lord on Aug 9, 2024.
For everyone that’s knows her she lived life giving her love and time to anyone that needed it. She graduated from West Scranton High School. She married the love of her life, James Connor and they were married 55 years. She spent her life loving her family and friends and providing them with love and support for everyone. She loved being there for her grandchildren being at every event she could. She was grandma Christmas to all of her family and friends making sure every minute was filled with joy, traditions, and love. She loved her later years spending winters in Cocoa Beach Florida with her husband and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband James Connor. They had three children Joanne Novack of Moscow, James Connor and wife Michele Connor of Moscow, Lisa Dieter and husband Patrick Dieter of Virginia Beach. She has 8 wonderful grandchildren James Gouldsbury and wife Ashley ; Lily Kacy, and Luke Connor; Patrick, Nathan, Madeline, and Brayden Dieter. She had 5 great children Emma, Ava, Maya, Lyla, and Kira Gouldsbury. She is preceded in death by her parents Emilia and Chester Golembeski, and her two living sisters Dorthy Bohn and Joan Jones. And her adored nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her family will honor her wishes of a church service at St Peter and Paul Church in Scranton at 10:00AM, this Friday August 16, 2024. There will be a Celebration of life at Dino & Francesco’s Pizza and Pasta House, Abington Road in Clark’s Summit. All that loved her are welcome to join. Instead of flowers please send a donation to the Amniotic Fluid Foundation in her name so that other mothers have the chance to make a difference as she did.
