Bernadine Brady, 78, of Scranton, PA passed away on November 5, 2025 at her home. She was the daughter of Joseph and Emily (Bialczak) Czachor. Before retirement, she worked a variety of jobs but lately was an LPN nurse working in local nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brady, former Scranton Police Officer, a sister, Mary Ann Czachor and two brothers, Joseph and Conrad Czachor. She is survived by her youngest brother, Rev. Richard Czachor, Tannersville, PA and several nieces and nephews. She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Patrick's Church, Scranton. There will be a viewing on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home, 1240 St. Ann's Street, Scranton. Prayer service will conclude the viewing. Entombment will take place in Cathedral Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
