Barbara Jean Spindler December 11, 2022 Barbara Jean Spindler, 67, of Scranton, died Sunday at her daughter’s home in Sharon, Pa. Born July 8, 1955, daughter of the late Arthur Spindler and Florance Higgins, she attended West Scranton High School where she led her team to many championships as lead twirler. Her last wish was to attend a live Steelers game, and her children fulfilled that wish. Barbara leaves with great love for her three children, Theodis Spindler, Scranton; Tesha Law and husband, Paul, Sharon; and Tiece Spindler, Throop; her loving grandchildren, Jason Lutaowski, Amine and Amira Law, Felicity Martin, and Evan and Reece Spindler; great-grandchild, Aries William Law; siblings, Elizabeth Joyce, William Spindler and Florance Gaffeny, all of Scranton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will greatly miss her. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur and George Spindler. A funeral service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann’s St., Scranton. Friends may call from 5 to 6:45 p.m.
