Barbara A. Walters, 69, of Scranton, passed away on August 27, 2026, at Geisinger CMC Hospital after an illness. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Doris Abott McCann. She is survived by two daughters, Wendy Kurisko and husband Joseph and Janice Wierzinski as well as one brother, Joseph McCann. She enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley, watching TV, playing games and spending time with her 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jordan Kurisko. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home.
