Anthony Rasalla, 55, of the Minooka section of Scranton passed away Thursday after a courageous battle with cancer. His is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tina Gallagher Rasalla. Born in Dunmore, he was the son of Ronald Appel and the late Ann Appel. He was a graduate of Dunmore High School and worked at MacTac in Moosic for 34 years.
Anthony loved spending time with his family more than anything. He was a generous person who always lent a hand to anyone in need. His smile and “bad dad jokes” will be missed.
Also surviving are his children, Kraigen Rasalla and Aubrie Rasalla of Scranton, sister Lynn Rasalla of Dunmore, eight nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the ER and ICU nurses of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital who provided Anthony with excellent care and comfort to the end.
Per Anthony’s wishes, there will be no services. The family will host a celebration of life party at a future date.
