Ann Marie Midgley, 53, of Scranton, died Saturday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, surrounded by family.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Sarah and Leonard Brown, she enjoyed going to yard sales, creating diamond art, watching movies and spending time with family. A diehard Giants fan, she loved watching football on Sundays. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, who took pride in her family and always helped others because she had a kind, warm heart.
Surviving are her children, Stephanie, Samantha, Michael Jr., Kristofer and Ryan; grandchildren, Hayden, Annabelle, Liam, Saniyah and Elianna; in addition to many nieces, nephews and friends that she considered family.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 6pm in the Thomas J Hughes FH Inc, 1240 St. Ann's St, Scranton. Friends may call starting at 4pm.
