Ann Jean Munley, 93, of Greenville, died Thursday. She was the widow of William Munley, who passed away in 1989. Born in Scranton, Pa, daughter of the late Martin and Sarah Mackin McLaughlin, she was an active member of the Mauldin SC Senior Center and was employed by Abington Heights (PA) High School as a secretary in the guidance department until her retirement. Ann was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching movies , discussing politics, and extensive vacation travel. She especially enjoyed watching her grandsons play year round high school and college sports as well as spending other quality time with them. Surviving are her son, William Munley Jr, Greenville; two grandsons, William III and Patrick Munley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Martin McLaughlin; and two sisters, Frances Castaldi and Mary MacArthur. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10am in St. Ann's Basilica, Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
