Albert Friese Jr., 83, of Lake Ariel, passed away on Wednesday, April 1. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Dorothy Ann Friese. Born in Scranton, son of the late Albert and Maria Friese Jr, he was a graduate of West Scranton High School and was a member of St. Luke's Church in Scranton. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a tech designer at Gentex. Albert was a longtime member of the Freemasons, enjoyed hunting and was a car enthusiast. Surviving are his daughters, Deborah Friese; and Donna Sein and husband, Ramon; grandchildren, Matthew Sein and wife, Rebecca; and Melinda Sasso and husband, Christopher; great-grandson, Christopher Sasso Jr; and sister-in-law, Diane Friese. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie. A funeral service conducted by the Freemasons will be held at 11am on Monday, April 6th in the Davies & Jones Funeral Home, 1401 Capouse Ave, Scranton. Interment, Mifflinville Cemetery.
