Judith Ann Sheridan, 71, of Newton Twp., died Sunday at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore. Her husband is Francis R. Sheridan. The couple had been married for 30 years.Born in Scranton, daughter of Wanda Bernisky Kashinski, Scranton, and the late Frank Kashinski, Judith was a member of St. Ann’s Basilica. Educated in Scranton public schools, she attended Scranton Technical High school. For several years Judith was employed in the garment industry and then was employed by RCA, General Electric, Thomson Consumer Electronics and, before retirement, Lockheed Martin. Judith was known for her dedication as a loyal employee and for her hard work. She was a member of AARP, enjoyed fishing trips, being outdoors and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She loved life and did things on her own time in her own way.Also surviving are a stepson, Francis E. Sheridan and wife, Lisa, Pittston; a stepdaughter, Colleen Ann Colosimo and husband, Tony, Scranton; a brother, David Kashinski, Scranton; nieces, nephews and cousins.She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert F. Kashinski; and a sister, Adele Ruble.Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ann’s Basilica. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann’s St., Scranton.
